Scare Your Fears | Creative Career Talk

Come check out tenth Creative Career Talk, led by Kyle Traore and hosted by the JMU Creative Media Community!

The talk, titled “Scare Your Fears” will dive into Kyle’s journey as a creative producer and graphic designer working in the sports and media space. Kyle has built his career through a mix of self taught design and real world experience, with his work being featured by platforms like SLAM and even on the social pages of professional athletes.

Now working with LeagueFits in New York City, he’s helped produce content alongside athletes like Isaiah Thomas, designed licensed merch for SLAM, and played a role in major events like the SLAM Summer Classic, handling everything from jerseys to social graphics and on court visuals.

His path shows how leaning into creativity, taking risks, and putting yourself out there can open doors across multiple areas of the industry.

Through his presentation he’ll share how facing fear, trusting your value, and embracing new opportunities can shape your path as a creative.
