Event Time and Date
Take Back the Night is an event dedicated to raising awareness about sexual assault and intimate partner violence. This event will provide students with a safe and supportive place to empower and share their stories.
The event will consists of musical performances, poetry, a key-note speaker, and survivor speak-out for students to share their own personal stories. During the speak-out, all of the lights are turned off so the audience cannot see who is speaking (so survivors may share their stories anonymously). The night will end with a march through campus. Throughout the event, trained CARE volunteers will staff the event to help assist anyone, including survivors who are triggered, need someone to talk to, or need resources.
Please bring your friends and come support survivors across your campus. Together we can break the silence and end the violence!
