The JMU Bird Club’s mission is to provide a community for birders of all levels of interest and experience to share their love of bird watching and identification through meetings and field trips.

Mission
Caving Club, also known as Madison University Student Grotto (MUSG), provides a safe and fun atmosphere for horizontal caving. Our club is co-ed, has around 30 members and is active year round. Check out http://musg.caves.org or instagram.com/jmu_caving for pictures!

We take a Saturday or Sunday day trip every weekend, as well as travel camping and caving trips at least twice a semester. Dues include everything you will need and membership is open all year round.

Landscape design is everywhere, from parks, to playgrounds, and even the sidewalks we use every day. But as prevalent as it is, landscape architecture is often overlooked as a career field. The Dukes Landscape Design Club will spread awareness about this career path and allow students to explore what it has to offer. This interdisciplinary, all-major-friendly club will also provide students with opportunities to be active in the Virginia landscape design community.

JMGrew serves to provide an outlet and community for those members of the student body who are interested in gardening, horticulture, and agriculture regardless of their level of experience.
This club will engage in gardening projects on campus and in the local area when able in order to foster the education of members and those we interact with about sustainable agriculture and gardening practices. In doing so, we hope to give people new knowledge as well as the practical skills and benefits of gardening through demonstrating the different methods and styles in which it can be done.
