Thanks for a great Student Org Night!
Student Activities & Involvement wants to extend a massive THANK YOU to all of the groups that particiapted in Student Org Night this week! Through the virtual pivot and the delay due to technical issues, y'all were enthuasistic and patient with us as we worked hard to make sure everyone who wanted to participate could. We hope that folks found the event enjoyable, (mostly) stress-free, and worthwhile. A few quick folllow-up notes:
- The Student Org Night fair page will be live through next week for folks to browse. Keep this in mind as you are emailing potential members as there may be additions to folks on the "I'm Interested!" list. Speaking of...
- How to Download Your "I'm Interested!" List
- Navigate to your org home page
- Select "Members"
- Filter by Contacts at the top and then select the tag “Student Org Night 2022”.
- Select All Users
- Select "Generate Report." This will generate an excel file to download with names and emails
- OR you can email them directly from the New Be Involved system!
- Follow Steps 1-4 above, and instead of Generating Report, select Send Email, and the system will redirect you to the email buildier
- There are many different options and templates you can use, including Preloading an Event into the email to alert folks of an interest meeting or upcoming event! We'll provide more trianing on this feature later this semester, but we encourage folks to begin exploring different aspects of the site. (We sent this email through the Email Builder using just a basic template!)
- This platform will be replacing the Old Be Involved
- Work on collecting any data/information you'd like to keep from Old Be Involved (the site will be unavailable starting in late May!)
- Set up your org page on the New Be Involved, including your About, Contacts, Pictures & Documents, and Updated Rosters!
- Check out our Be Involved Tutorials Website for information on how to update the New Be Involved and how to collect information from the Old Be Involved.
- Continue recruting members!
- Student Orgs can reserve Warner Commons Tables and other in-person locations to find members and advertise your org
- Keep an updated social media presence and interact with other orgs and offices!
- Remember that The Club House is a FREE resource for all recognized student orgs to utilize, including banner paper, printing and copies, and other craft supplies to be used for org activities.
