Mission
As an organization under the Center for Multicultural Student Services (CMSS), Mozaic Dance Team is committed to cultivating a diverse, inclusive environment for all members. We recognize that as an open style/choreography team, we are partaking in black culture and seek to educate all members on the history of hip-hop so that we may continue to resist racism, discrimination, and other forms of stigmatization that have been used to separate and disempower people. Mozaic Dance Team will always strive to increase diversity and representation from all communities, both internally and in its programming within James Madison University and the dance community at large.
