Mission
James Madison University’s Hillel aims to connect Jewish Students through activities and religious events to build the Jewish community within JMU. Hillel offers students the chance to learn about Judaism from both cultural and religious perspective. We have a variety of events to cater to all branches of Judaism. We also provide rides to local Harrisonburg synagogue services and hope to have our own in the future.

Membership Benefits
The target audience are Jewish JMU students. Our average sized event is 10-15 people with our largest event at over 50 people in attendance. James Madison University has about 400 students who identify as Jewish and we are working greatly to get them engaged with Hillel.
