JMU AFROTC is a group devoted to commissioning outstanding future officers from JMU's campus. We are formally based at UVA but have maintained a presence at JMU since 2001. Cadets in JMU AFROTC take their classes at UVA every Tuesday but also train at JMU on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 6:30 am and as needed throughout the week. We hold fundraising and volunteer activities and strive to contribute to our community while training to be the best possible leader in the Air Force. We are formally located at DET 890 at UVA. We are not related or associated to JMU Army ROTC and are our own group entirely. If you want to become a future Air Force Officer contact us directly or DET 890.
